Hedingham Castle - Essex Wedding Venue - Part 2

On our second visit to Hedingham Castle for another of their wedding open days. It was great to be able to see more of this venue and to see different decorations in place which gave our couple a better idea of what they wanted for their own wedding.

. The space in the magnificent banqueting hall at Hedingham Castle is perfect for your ceremony and you can go all out with your decorations or be as subtle as you want with the romance of flickering candles. Visiting any venue on a wedding open day is perfect to give you ideas and inspiration, and let you see just how the space can look on your own special day with your own touches and style to make it personal to you.

From the castle we headed outside to continue our exploration of the grounds with even more ideas for photos. The grounds are as diverse as you could want, with the lakes, trees to create stunning backdrops whatever the time of year, and of course the castle itself together with it's bridged entrance.

The wedding Rolls Royce parked outside the mansion house where drinks receptions take place in the private gardens was an added bonus. Can you imagine pulling up to your wedding in this stunning car ? The mansion house and private gardens are the epitome of luxury and elegance, with that Downton Abbey feel that many of us aspire to.

From here you move through into the silk-lined marquee for your wedding breakfast and reception with it's dedicated dance floor and lighting. Here you have modern elegance and a large space to style as you wish, whether that means going big with floral centre pieces or being more understated and minimalist.

This venue is the perfect setting for a wedding with the wow factor. Who of us would not like to feel like a King or Queen for the day with your very own castle ? If you are looking for an Essex wedding venue with something for everyone, then we would strongly recommend a visit to Hedingham Castle to see for yourself just how much they have to offer.
